Tiny (Hands) Tuesday
President Trump’s glorification of Confederate statues, refusal to acknowledge racism and his demonization of immigrants — is immoral. Why should Americans care about statues when 132,000 people are dead from Covid 19 thanks to his incompetent response. February 27th he said, “It’s going to disappear. One day — it’s like a miracle — it will disappear."
Trump's campaign events, purposely held without masks and social distancing, spread his message of racial grievance and belligerence to medical facts adding to the pandemic death toll. Unlike 2016, his message of subversion, violence and fear is worn out. He’s not on the outside looking in. He’s the president, with the responsibility for keeping Americans secure and safe.
When the president’s claims (that he had everything under control; that the response to the virus was a media “hoax” and that it was all a plot to undermine him) are spliced together and aired between now and Election Day we may come to see that the most effective advocate for ousting Trump was Trump. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vEzfHfLaLG4https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vEzfHfLaLG4
