Pretty in pinkish

A bad start to the day. I spotted our cat, Mittens, in the garden with a mouse in her mouth. I tried to catch her but she ran off into the bushes. Grrr!
Down to the allotment to lift some tatties, pick some strawberries and thin out some carrots. Not the best exercise for someone with a sore back but it is improving.
Popped in past Strichen Lake and took some photos of the wild-flower meadow.
Don’t you just love it when “Downing Street” have to do their best to put a spin on B.J.’s insensitive remarks re. Care Homes!!!
