Bracing!

A bit of a shock to open the curtains this morning to find the white stuff had returned, about two inches had arrived during the night.

As roads were clear Mrs FOF and I continued with our plans for a day out up the North East coast. The beautiful beach at Bamburgh was almost deserted which is not suprising as apart from the driving rain it was absolutely freezing (several brass monkeys were seen hiding in the dunes!).

A good day, as it always is when spent with my nearest and dearest.
