Here is Robbie being fascinated by the gulls nesting on the roof. This was my third day in a row being inside and it was a bit of a roller coaster. Yesterday's hip pain had gone by the morning which is what had happened with the previous bouts of pain. However, I was a bit wiped out from the previous day and got permission to work from home. I also spoke to one of the arthroplasty practitioners (they advise on problems after joint replacements) and she was remarkably unsympathetic - she didn't think the pain was connected with my hip operations so I don't think she was interested. She recommended that I remove the raised loo seat that I originally got because of this type of pain. I did that and promptly got the pain again. Still, I had been thinking of other possibilities, in particular, muscular cramp. A heat pad didn't help, but I then lay down and stretched out which was initially quite painful, but it then it sorted the pain - hurray! I felt super-better as the threat of getting this pain was no longer a threat.
