A busy bee

I was hunting a ladybug today, see the first extra, but obviously it decided to escape the hard way :(.
Then I went to another part of our garden, where we usually don't go. Two butterflies seemed to be aware of the seclusion and did what has to be done (in order for the species to survive). Caught in the act, that was.

My main blip is of a bee busy drinking the nectar. Such a proboscis comes in very handy at times. Thanks to dbifulco for hosting.
