Working Sunrise

Almost at work, but I noticed the sun just peeping over the horizon.

Well, I had glimpses of it as it was behind me as I was driving. So I parked up, and walked to a suitable location on the roadside in the village of Weston, near Crewe.

I didn't have much time as I didn't want to be late for my second day of my First Aid at Work retraining course, so hence the presence of street signs in the shot.

But it was so lovely just to stop for a few minutes. And I was surprised at the resulting photo. It's taken with my compact on almost complete auto settings!!
