Back to Trentham Gardens

I met up with Erica, another long term friend. We started our teaching careers in classrooms opposite each other in a huge comprehensive school in West Bromwich. A very long time ago. 

We were SO lucky.  It poured as I drove there. It was damp but ok while we walked round the lake (stopping for a coffee). 

Trentham Gardens are being sensible. Safe distancing. A one way route. Toilets cleaned often and a supervisor checking people go in one at a time. You book timed tickets online but their website can cope. 

Back to our cars just before it poured again. Strawberries and carrot cake......

My blip is of a new fairy sculpture but she’s lost her view of the lake as it’s blissfully overgrown and lush.

Anyone else think it’s peculiar watching live  football and cricket at teatime midweek ?
