It's not my birthday until tomorrow but today I received this rather good parcel of Spanish foods from Brindisa that W had ordered for me.  Three different cheeses, cured pork loin, pate, smoked almonds, piquillo peppers and Moscatel raisins on the vine.  We happened to have a nice bottle of Rioja on the rack so that will go well with it all.  We've started on the meats already; very tasty!

W has baked a carrot cake for me; however, she couldn't get a '7' candle so a cocktail stick and cut out number had to suffice.
