Thanks to everyone for your kind words. At the moment we seem to be in a state of limbo, waiting for the coroner's report before a medical certificate of death can be issued.

The last two days have been singularly autumnal - cool, grey and wet. Yesterday's was Ben's birthday, and despite the circumstances we had an enjoyable family meal with Chris and Lizzy, who sat on a sofa 2 m from the rest of us. Luckily we have a large living room! We all raised a glass to Molly, and enjoyed sharing our memories of her, as well as singing Happy Birthday to Ben with our faces shielded!

Today I've been report writing and Pete's been trying to sort out her paperwork,as well as talking to the Funeral Director and Bishop Rob Gillion about the funeral. We're not very clear how it will work. She'd planned it out in great detail, and was hoping for a full church, but,  because of Covid-19, numbers will be very restricted and there won't be any singing. There have been mentions of using Zoom to involve a wider audience, but I'm not sure how many of her friends would have access to that technology. I'm sure it'll all be fine in the end...
