Winterwind

The area near the Eemshaven in the north of Groningen is one of the strangest parts of the Netherlands i know. The combination of vast open fields and hightech industry with huge windturbines near the Waddensea is one of a kind. I tried to capture this on a windy day with big skies. This wasn't easy as the sun was behind clouds almost all time. This image was made during the few seconds it appeared through a small hole in the clouds.
