Snow on Banks Peninsula

I waited for a clearance in the weather to walk some Port Hills tracks today.  There had been a light snowfall on some tracks overnight but most had melted by this afternoon.

From the Port Hills I looked across Lyttelton Harbour to Banks Peninsula, where there had been a heavier snowfall at higher elevations, adding to the pretty scene.

Mt Herbert is in the centre.  It is highest point on Banks Peninsula at 920 metres.
