Head First!

Dear Diary,

This Swallowtail dove head first into the daylilies by the front door.  It was fun to sit and watch him move from flower to flower savoring the delicious treat.  We had vicious thunderstorms last night and lots of rain.  Today will be very tropical in feeling, hot and high humidity.  I guess we are going to get a major rain event on Saturday from a tropical storm moving up the coast.  I worry about Momma Robin and her nest.
