Knitting

The temperature was nineteen degrees Celsius at GMT noon. It has been overcast all day with rain on and off for most of the day. 

I wet and miserable day so I have done some indoor jobs and some knitting which is today’s picture. It is a hat and half of a “top down” baby cardigan. I like knitting these as they are knitted I one piece; no sewing up! The pattern is a free one from Ravelry by Marianna Mel and the items will go to charity.

I received a letter today, which at first I thought was a mistake. However, after reading it twice I discovered that it was a payment from when I claimed PPI, I shall not spend it all at once, it was a cheque for £18.74!
