Pentlands

It was a damp morning and only really cheered up mid-afternoon so we took advantage of travel easing by driving out to the Woodland Trust’s Currie Wood at Borthwick. The wood is either side of the steep gorge of Middleton South Burn and is a mix of plantation and deciduous trees. We had a good short walk and then came back along the road on the high ground where there is a fine view of the Pentlands that is today’s blip.

Yesterday’s blip.
