Extras: Wednesday evening at dusk on the north mesa, a favorite sunset viewing aerie, our friends the Big Horn Sheep family welcomed us to the summit.  The first sighting was a full on direct head shot, but I was not fast enough, nor apparently talked sweetly enough to calm her timid character.  Even so, she didn't leap off but took a slow-grazing saunter away from us and back to the kids.
