Wandering

S and I went for a lovely walk across the forest this morning. Always reminds me of the first time I came down to the New Forest and was confused because not much of it is actual forest...more heathland really. Chatted about outdoor pursuits and potential adventures as well as about more nostalgic family stuff. Not great weather (again!) but warm enough despite the clouds and spitting rain. Back and had a coffee and more chat with S,M&Z, showing them the photos of my flat that the photographer took last week before heading off to drive to A’s. We had some lunch together and watched some nonsense as we chatted about the wedding (or rather the complications of whether it will go ahead or not). The venue acts as if it’s all straightforward and they should just be going ahead with a final decision on Aug 20th, but that’s only 3 weeks before the wedding....way too late to have a go/no go decision, but if they push to cancel then they will lose all the money they’ve paid. So frustrating.
Back to T&Kt’s and we decided to order in a curry for supper. Half watched a film afterwards and then an earlyish night
