Finally he decided to settle on the geraniums rather than the gravel!  I did some reorganisation in the garden this afternoon and chopped down and dug up our buddleia bush. Despite being covered in flowers the butterflies don’t seem to like it much so we are going to try some other insect friendly plants and crops there instead.
