Sambucus nigra Black Lace

Saturday is becoming allotment day with lots to be tidied up.  Watched a blackbird trying to get underneath the netting and into the strawberries.  It didn't make it this time but I have my suspicions.  The Sambucus has wonderful plates of flowers looking glorious against the black foliage.  It has benefitted from the removal of an ash tree - always a silver lining.
