If you go down in the woods today.

You might be in for a big surprise.

B and son arrived at 8 am this morning and we decided to go out for the day and leave them to it.
We were blessed with good weather.

First stop a walk through Judy Woods, and then round Norwood Green. Off exploring a new path which is where we saw this sign.
Made us laugh.
We looked for the bears, but only saw a few squirrels.

Back to the car for coffee and chocolate, and spent half an hour reading the Yorkshire Post .

Then off to Hipperholme and The Hungry Hippo
sandwich shop where we bought a very good ham salad sandwich.

Stopped in Cleckheaton for some bird food before calling to see our friends A and C.
Had a good catchup, but hadn’t been there long before we got a phone call to say B had finished fitting the windows.
They have done a great job.
So lucky to have a small local craftsman who, with the help of his son, does the measuring, making, and fitting.

Decided to have a takeaway from our local deli for tea.
Tiger prawns in a chilli , red pepper and tomato sauce, followed by pizza.
All freshly cooked to order, and delicious with a bottle of red wine.

Now a beautiful evening.
Hope this weather lasts a few days.
