Skelton Tower

Situated on the edge of Newtondale in the North York Moors National Park and overlooking the Pickering to Whitby steam railway (the Hogwarts railway in Harry Potter) it was built in 1830 by the rector of Levisham.
The tower is only accessible by foot and is perched on the edge of Corn Hill Point - so called because the area was cultivated during the Napoleonic wars.
