Black Cohosh

Acetaea racemosa, aka black bugbane, black snakeroot, fairy candle.  Take your pick.  I've seen a few of these every summer but never knew what they were.  Thanks to Miranda for the WFW challenge to keep me learning!

We had a great hike up and down many challenging hills at Sulphur Springs since the temp dropped to 75 degrees.

As for yesterday's gloating, it was punished as I feared it might be.  It couldn't have been that easy...The first thing Mr Mole saw this morning when he opened the bedroom shade was:  The Rabbit!  Apparently the one I let out was a young relative who had snuck in.  Serves me right.

I hope you have a great start to the upcoming week.  Thanks for your visits and comments when time permits.
