BREAKAWAY...

....to Hythe.
Definitely a day of 2 halves...this morning The Rev had to do a very sad baby funeral. We then dropped Daisy off to Mums and then onto Hythe.
#back to one of our favourite hotels (we were here in January for The Revs 60th celebrations).

#once we dropped the car off we then walked for an hour and half to Folkestone. It’s lovely to walk beside the sea but it was soooo hot. We visited my friend Jan (and hubbie ) who have just purchased a “project“ ...they are restoring a flat in a beautiful Victorian building.
We then walked all the way back to Hythe. After a drink in the sunshine we enjoyed a tasty meal at the hotels Indian restaurant and back to our room # view lovely sea views.... to binge watch a TV series. The Rev was asleep within minutes!!!! Oh well good to see him chill!!!!
