On the High Road

Today the walkers parked at the swing bridge at Albert Town, and walked from there to The Hawea River White Water Park at Camphill Road.  It was a long way, I clocked up over 18,000 steps or 12 K.  We had our lunch overlooking the River Surfing Wave.  It was a long way back to the cars, but we stopped for a very welcome cuppa at a local cafe on the way home.  13 walkers out to enjoy the beautiful day in the sun.

The walkers in this blip are walking towards Treble Cone Skifield.  8 members of my family were up there today, enjoying the skiing and beautiful sunny day.

Heading out to Luggate for dinner tonight at my daughters place.  I have the fire going, and am ready to put my feet up.
