Well-being

No countryside outings today as too busy with projects around the cottage. These included exploring the well for the first time. Measured it as around 16 feet deep with over 4 ft of water - could be handy if we get another period of drought. Oscar the cat came to see what I was doing and I couldn't help singing the old nursery rhyme "Ding, dong, bell, Pussy's in the well..." - how cruel! I did put the lid back on
