Kelpies

As you may know, Kelpies are shape-shifting creatures resembling a horse, able to adopt human form, who live in Scotland's lochs and pools. Beware if you come across a beautiful naked stranger when alone in such locations, in case he/she inveigles you into the depths and devours you.

Here's one, above a window in Cromarty. In fact there are two (see extra), alleged to have come from Urquhart Castle, long demolished.

Intriguing, anyway. But with its clothes on.
