The morning after

The very night before we were discussing this intersection as being a serious safety hazard and a zone we have been campaigning for years as requiring a safety upgrade.

Perhaps I should explain. This car has been sandwiched between two huge trucks. Severely.

By some miracle there was only one person in the car and it's been reported that, despite being airlifted to Sydney she is in a stable condition. Thank heavens.

We've had some millions moved from one project to safety upgrades in the area, but most of them won't happen for a few years.

It can't happen soon enough.
