Up on Scott's View near Earlston in the Scottish Borders.

Beautiful part of the country named after Sir Walter Scott whose home Abbotsford is nearby.

Legend has it that as Scott's funeral cortage passed by, his horses pulling the hearse stopped at the scene, so used were they to coming there.

Great view....seemed rude not to.
