Peacock

There's a small wood on the outskirts of the village planted with field alder, wild cherry and beech.  Although it's pretty and cared for, I've always found it disappointing for its apparent lack of wildlife.  But not today!  It's alive with butterflies - Peacocks, Red Admirals and Meadow Browns.

This is my first attempt at photographing a butterfly.  I don't think I have the patience to be a wildlife photographer!
