Chrysalides!

This morning is on the left and this evening is on the right! What a difference... from caterpillars into cocoons!

Sadly three of the five are on the floor, in the goop, and this morning I thought they were certainly dead.

However, after some encouragement from a few friends who have done this before and then from the lady in an online chat at the company we got them from, we are a bit more hopeful... they may yet be ok. We are keeping our fingers firmly crossed.

We have to now let them harden for 2-3 days before moving them to the butterfly enclosure.


Also today, L is exactly four and a half years old! We got her some Numberblocks and Alphablocks from CBeebies... she loves them, especially the numberblocks!
