First Strawberry and Flowers

Child No. 1 returned to London yesterday evening so we are having a quite weekend (and recovering!)

The dwarf strawberry plant that I bough earlier in the spring is still surviving and there is the promise of my first strawberry (unless the blackbird gets it).  He vandalised the patio pots earlier in the year (see 27 April for the evidence) and I think he has his eyes on this.
