Lockdown Day 115 - About to Fledge

These lesser-black-backed gull chicks hatched 5 weeks ago on the roof opposite my kitchen.  I blipped the three young chicks at a few days old on the 13th June ( https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2718610086380438476 ). Now two of them are about to fledge and were flapping to exercise their wings but they stopped flapping as soon as I picked up my camera.  The fate of the third one is unknown. I never saw it again after the first week.

Also on the avian front, I blipped a pair of wood pigeons on the 13th April ( https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2696467511309765968 ) and they were at it again this evening on the same rooftop. Another brood will soon be on the way.
