Here and Now

The Rookery

562 acres of marsh, swamp, and forests in Munson, Geauga County was the site of our weekly Wednesday adventure.  Today we walked another section of the former interurban (electric) train trail,  that once ran from Geauga County farmland to downtown Cleveland in the late 1800s/early 1900s.  Hundreds of great blue herons nest here every spring.  We enjoyed a quiet breeze on the cinder trail where we passed only  seven people and six dogs.

Thank you all for your lovely feedback and kind stars and hearts on yesterday's bluebird/bug blip!  Have a good evening.
