Cantankerous

Noisy, argumentative, cantankerous - sounds just like me in a snit!

These are Little Corellas, and they are an example of native birds getting out of control.  Detested by farmers, they have been known to strip a paddock of wheat in minutes.  They gather in massive flocks - up to 10,000 or more, and roost in high trees, and they never, but never, stop shrieking.

In the Belair Park this morning there was nothing like 10,000 but at the very least a few hundred - mostly all fighting over grass seeds.
