An Interesting Journey

... back from Dunedin.  Sunshine when we left, but black ice on the footpaths in the shade.  Went via Ranfurly for a change.  Sunshine and beautiful scenery up until just before Middlemarch when we ran into fog - thick (first extra fog coming into view).  Cold,  -2C, with deep hoar frost (second extra).  A brief interlude of sunshine when I took the main blip (thank goodness he turned off) then back into fog.  Very stressful driving - we shared the stress!
