Cycle to work scheme

Our organisation has just started to offer a 'hire cycle to work scheme', which is good news, especially since I was one of the people to first ask about it a few years back. That said, I have been walking to and from work since we moved to South Gyle and have really been enjoying it, so am not sure that I want to risk life and limb on the roads of Edinburgh.

Mind you, if I had a bike, I could go through red lights, cycle up right beside cars and nearly scrape the side of them, wear dark clothes and have a light as strong as candle ... the joy of cycling!
