Today's Memories

By Pxas

Friday

We spontaneously asked my parents-in-law if they would join us for dinner and without hesitation, they said yes.

These two as so cute.  My father-in-law is a handful.  He has dementia, cannot see well and hear.  So my mother-in-law is his brain, eyes, and ears.  It's sometimes too much for her which we all totally understand.  We try to take him off her hands (if he lets us) so that she can have some time for herself.

It's just sad to see how he is slowly giving up on everything.  He doesn't take part in conversations and his excuse is always that he cannot hear.  We tried to convince him to get a new hearing aide but he simply refuses and it's driving all of us crazy!!!!  He is so stubborn.
