T for Tea

Well...it was coffee actually (but that would rather spoil the title).  Our neighbour T is 89 today and so we baked him a birthday cake (no blowing out of candles allowed of course), and invited him round to our garden this afternoon for a chat and a cuppa. His lovely wife died in January and he told us it was the first birthday in 65 years that he has been on his own.  

We enjoyed some sunshine this afternoon which was in complete contrast to this morning's weather.   It was so gloomy that although I did take one or two photos when B and I visited NT Blickling this morning they were rather disappointing and dull (unlike the walk which was very pleasant!), so I chose T's cake to blip instead.
