A bit messy...

...shot of barley, but the barley is quite messy. The first ears came out about three weeks ago, but there are still new ones coming. There will be huge variation in the time of ripening and that will increase drying costs. We had the same problem two years ago, but I think it wasn't this bad.

Sixteenth day with rain in a row. The last two days it was 8 mm, the seven before them 11 mm, and the first seven 74 mm. No more drought, but luckily a few dry days ahead.

Wedding day celebrated with strawberry cake in the evening.
