The 10th

A bog standard golf shot today, I'm afraid, of the 10th green but unusual inthat I'd just chipped my third shot into the hole from off the green for a birdie.

Even more unusual, two holes earlier at the 8th, which stretches into the distance beyond the tree onthe right here, I'd putted in from off the green for another birdie. Very rare that I get one, never mind two in one round.

I managed to play steadily for the rest of the round for my best score in some time, although it did mean my handicap was cut by one shot.

A trip to B&Q this afternoon in preparation for some decorating.
