Round the Corner

This morning I accompanied Mr B to the club, 2nd game (tennis) since beg. covid. Social members (me), now allowed in. Sat on the outside terrace, had a cappuccino, caught up with local on-line news (the club has removed newspapers and magazines), and a couple of chats.

Home for lunch. Suggested we went for a walk once it cooled at 5pm. The opposite.... it felt warm & muggy on the return. Was pleased to get back to a cold shower

My image, for Ingeborg’s Abstract Thursday’s challenge ‘Colourful’, is of a building round the corner. It’s white with green doors and windows. But to keep Ingeborg happy, I’ve jazzed it up.

It’s an unprepossessing 20’s? building you could easily miss, and set back from the road. But look closer (the original image is in extras), and it seems to have original Crittall windows, and original features.

Never sure whether the front is the back, with that wonderful spiral staircase (which reminds me of a lighthouse) But who cares, it has a lot more character than the newer apartment blocks.
