The Thursday market continues in a slightly  attentuated form.
Behind me are two butchers  from Carmarthen selling cheese, eggs and pies as well as meat,  and further along an excellent fishmonger who comes each week from Milford Haven with a selection of  fresh seafood. Today Tenby plaice was the star attraction.

Here on the opposite side, below a tiled mural made by local children some years ago, are a fruit and veg stall, another selling home-made cakes, jam and crafts,  a young man promoting his rustic bread enterprise and to the right, out of sight, a range of Syrian food made by one of our local refugee families. In normal times there is another row of stalls in the middle but that's been removed to allow people to circulate freely and keep their distance.  It's good to be able to support these local businesses but footfall seemed very light.

* See extra for the eccentrically spelt reminder, as seen on the coast. path.
