My Favourite Sunset

This was the most spectacular sunset I ever saw. The sky was on fire, and all I had was my little iPhone. We were on the Îles de la Madeleine in the Gulf of St. Lawrence, on Cap aux Meules, as the sun went down. I couldn't believe what I was seeing and was determined to try to capture it on camera. But we were in the car, and it was vanishing so quickly. I chased it halfway across the island before finally jumping out to snap this. I got another picture from the graveyard of the church you see here. It's a bit spooky. Maybe I'll post it tomorrow.
