New driver

Jax had scheduled the written test for his driver's license in The Dalles today, and asked us to take him. He had already passed the driving part, and to get an appointment at the nearest DMV to us would have meant weeks of waiting. We like going to The Dalles, and had a great time with him. He passed the test and got his license! Here is a a bit of celebration at the shore of the Columbia River. John wanted to go swimming before we headed back home. And Jax drove good portion of the way.
