Make Every Day Memorable

Grey Wagtail

An almost back to normal Sunday morning as we met up with friends for breakfast.
The venue, a favourite barn cafe on the edge of Dartmoor, was open for pre bookings but as it was such a lovely day, we sat outside.
In some ways it was a better experience because customers are no longer permitted to queue and all the orders were brought to a side table.

A lazy afternoon followed but we didn't want to 'waste' the whole day so drove over to beaver territory.
Sadly they were being elusive but, as we sat on the bank by the lodge, a pair of grey wagtails were flitting about.
This one was in the sinking sun's spotlight as it bobbed in and out of the water looking for some tasty morsels. I liked it’s slightly blurred reflection giving a lift to the dark water

Day total 3.5 miles
Year total 528.9 miles
