I’m sure this has a more scientific name than ‘big daisy’ but it’ll do for now.
An afternoon walk around the village. Crossing one field that had been left fallow there were several of these flowers in little clumps. They looked strangely out of place amongst the thistles, willow herb and bindweed.
I’ve added an extra of some blackberries that we were surprised to see were looking ripe and ready to eat. My lovely assistant W can confirm that looks aren’t everything.
