Excellent year for sweet peas

As well as being a good year for vegetables and soft fruit, it’s been an good year for the wild flower border, the self seeded poppies and the sweet peas at the allotments. The sweet peas have flowered early land at lower height than normal and are now providing 3 or 4 large butches a week. Their perfume is amazing, better than any man made air freshener. Just a pity their vase life is not longer.
