Ben Lomond and Arrochar Alps

The weather forecast suggested that the weather would improve through  the afternoon and be sunny by late afternoon, so we decided to go up the Marilyn, Stronend north east of Fintry. We approached from the north, but although it was dry it remained stubbornly cloudy and the views to the Highlands obscured by showers. We had afternoon tea at a parking spot with a great view towards the Highlands as the weather gradually improved and that is where I took the blip, a panorama of the view towards Ben Lomond, and Beinn Ime and Ben Vorlich in the Arrochar Alps.

Best on black.
