Loch Leven lavender field

We had our second full day walk since lockdown, a circuit of Loch Leven. Although we have been taking an hour or two's walk almost every day, we both found the 12 mile walk a bit of a struggle at the end. Mrs P's foot is still sore today. Fitness goes fast as you get older!

This commercial lavender field is a landmark on the way round, and looking good at the moment. We also saw some common spotted orchids (see extra), and the usual heron at Levenmouth Sluice House (you'll have to look closely).

The RSPB have kindly opened their toilets at Vane Farm, and their are signs that the cafe and shop will open soon.
