Rebecca and l walked to Skipton Market , it only takes about ten minutes.
The market has returned to the high street but is very different as traffic is now banned from passing through - to help with social distancing.
It really makes it really pleasant to walk around, especially as it is not as busy ( as before Covid )and there was no reason to feel, anxious.
We had a coffee and a treat in a favourite place and once again felt very comfortable with the new arrangements.
One of the main reasons for going was to visit a really lovely little fabric shop there which is currently only open 10am to 2 pm.
Only two allowed in the shop at one time so we had it to ourselves.
Because of lockdown her new house has no curtains at any of the windows and instead of buying online Rebecca has wanted to wait until she had got the feel of the house before deciding.
We walked home through the woods.
In the afternoon the girls were all doing Zoom ballet, folk and musical theatre in one room. Rebecca and Mike were out and l sat in another room just relaxing.
I was trying to imagine this window with either blinds or curtains, it’s such a pleasing outlook so it still needs to be a focal point.
