And later . . .

. . . this flower will become a big, dark red tomato.  At least that is what we are hoping.  

Our tomato plants are growing very tall with lots of tomato flowers, and a few tiny tomatoes.  Today we "built" a scaffold for the branches, and we did it very carefully so that we didn't upset the flowers.  The seed purveyors of this variety of tomato - a Black Crem - say that the plants will grow as tall as 6 feet.  I hope they weren't entirely serious, but we built the scaffold to be 7 feet tall.  

I am always amazed and enchanted with God's creation, even such a small thing as a tomato flower.
